Singing Valentines

Are you looking for something unique to give your loved ones for Valentine's Day?  The Ripple Effect Choir has an idea for you!   On or around February 14th, members of the choir will be providing Singing Valentines.  Their Singing Valentines are a unique one-of-a-kind, personally-delivered gift that your special someone will remember for a lifetime!  Each Valentine is $34.99, including a song (sung by choir members), personalized card, chocolates and a red rose. All deliveries are made within 10 miles of downtown South Bend, including South Bend, Mishawaka, Osceola, Lakeville, Niles, and everything in between.  For recipients outside the South Bend area, there is also a phone delivery option for $12 (song only).   This opportunity is for one day only!  For more info, visit our Events page.

Earth Day Concert

Do you get tired of winter doldrums and are ready for spring to be sprung?  Each year, The Ripple Effect performs an Earth Day concert.  Earth-inspired music is performed, celebrating everything from plants and trees to flowers and bees.  A free-will offering will be taken, and 10% of the monetary proceeds will be donated to a local eco-conscious organization.  For more info, visit our Events page.

Christmas in June Concert

Who else but The Ripple Effect would celebrate the birth of Christ in June! The program begins at 4:00 p.m. with a variety of Christmas favorites, followed by a traditional carol sing-along, and a beautiful cantata (complete with orchestra).  A $20 suggested donation will be taken at the door, and 10% of the monetary proceeds will be donated to a local charitable organization.  Immediately after the performance, there will be a Christmas Ice Cream Social!  For more info, visit our Events page.

"If You Knew Me, You'd Love Me,"

Our Signature Concert!

It seems everywhere you look, people are taking sides and calling names. How can we learn to find common ground? Every fall, The Ripple Effect presents "If You Knew Me, You'd Love Me,” an evening of music and words designed to build understanding. Uplifting songs of unity and inspiration will be interwoven with speakers from the community who will share personal stories to help us comprehend how it feels to walk in their shoes.

You’ll hear a wide variety of great songs delivered by the choir with plenty of style—everything from Broadway and R&B to pop and psychedelic soul funk.  You will also hear words spoken from the heart.  Past speakers have included an immigrant, a man with autism, a transgender woman, a fat acceptance advocate, a young African American male, an elderly gentleman, and people with physical and developmental disabilities. Their stories help us reach a fuller perception of each other.

Following the concert, you can participate in a group discussion on the importance of breaking down barriers and building bridges within our community.  Visit our Events page for details.

"This show was fantastic and so much more than I expected!

The talent was amazing!  The stories were heartwarming!

And the Ripple Effect message is perfect!"

Ginny McGann - Federated Media

"The Ripple Effect concerts have moved me from day one. When Lori Weirich invited me to a concert at St. Mary’s I was so impressed with the music and the speakers. I remember crying as I heard the speakers tell their stories and thinking what courage it would take to be up there in front of all of these strangers. I have continued to attend over the past couple years, bringing my husband to some of the events and most recently my bonus daughter, my bonus son’s fiancé and their mother. It was a special night with laughter and tears and forgiveness and love and acceptance. I am so excited for their future and will definitely be a follower! God bless this beautiful group of humans!"

Merry Melody Mitten Drive

Too many people suffer through the stinging cold of winter here in northern Indiana/southern Michigan without proper attire, and they need our help.  Each December, members of The Ripple Effect Choir will be singing Christmas songs at a local business in order to collect mittens, gloves, scarves, coats, hats and other winter apparel for those in need.  For more info, visit our Events page.
